Dr. Emily Rognrud grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received both her BS and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Minnesota. She moved to Colorado after graduating veterinary school and worked in canine and feline practice before joining Denver Cat Hospital to follow her passion for cats.
Dr. Rognrud is passionate about partnering with her clients to provide high quality care while keeping patient stress to a minimum. Her professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, and surgery. She is a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian as well as a member of the Feline Veterinary Medical Association.
In her free time, Dr. Rognrud enjoys hiking, reading, camping, and travelling with her husband Joe. Their animal family consists of two cats – a sweet calico named Pekoe and a spicy tripod kitty named Artemis – and two spunky mixed breed dogs, Juniper and Russell.
